Bachelor of Science in Home Science is an undergraduate professional course. Home science covers the study of various sciences that involve nutrition, health and growth measures including the science which deals with the surroundings and environment. The degree course mainly comprise of the study of major topics of Home Science like Food Science, Fundamentals of resources and Management.B.Sc Home Science is a 3 year full-time undergraduate course which deals with the management and economics of maintaining home and surrounding. Eligibility to which is qualifying 10+2 examination with a minimum aggregate or any intermediate examination with equivalent marks and above.Admission to this program does not require qualifying any entrance test. The admissions are done solely on the basis of the marks secured at the 10+2 level. This program deals in detail into the study of economics and managing of communities and home.Candidates possessing the knack of organizing things, ability to perform varied tasks, having a creative bent of mind and good communication skills are considered to be suitable for the program. It is necessary for students to possess a good analytical and logical mind, in order to lend a realistic approach to situations and things.
