Diwali Mela organized at MIT in collaboration with Meerut Udyami Foundation

Meerut. A grand Diwali fair was organized at the Meerut Institute of Technology (MIT) located on the Partapur Bypass in collaboration with the Meerut Udyogini Foundation. The fair was inaugurated with the lighting of lamps, jointly performed by MIT Director Dr. K.L.A. Khan, Principal Dr. Himanshu Sharma, Dean Academics Dr. Gaurav Sharma, Pharmacy Principal Dr. Neeraj Kant Sharma, Dean Student Welfare Dr. Sanjay Mathur, Sonal, and Ritima. Startups associated with the Meerut Udyogini Foundation set up stalls showcasing their food products and innovations, which garnered keen interest from students and faculty. Additionally, students from various departments at MIT displayed handicrafts, sports, and traditional arts.
Attractive stalls featuring cuisine, fashion, and art exhibits were also set up, captivating visitors. The highlight of the event was the Diwali Night Performance, which lasted late into the night. Students enthralled the audience with cultural dance, music, and theatrical performances. The stage was adorned with colorful lights, which illuminated the entire event.
The campus, decorated with student stalls, cultural performances and illumination, continued to resonate till late night.

Vice Chairman Puneet Agarwal said that such events not only promote culture and entrepreneurship but also encourage a sense of collectivism and creativity among students.
At the end of the program, Diwali greetings were given to all the guests and participants.
