The Department of Computer Applications at Meerut Institute of Technology organized a grand event, "Delights of Diwali." The event aimed to promote cultural values, creativity, and the festive spirit among students. During the event, students enthusiastically participated in various competitions, including a rangoli competition, door decorations, diya and matki decorations, and a fireless food stall. The entire department was decorated with lamps, flowers, and colorful decorations, bringing a Diwali-like atmosphere to the campus. Director Dr. K.L.A. Khan graced the event with his presence and praised the students' enthusiasm. Principal Dr. Himanshu Sharma said that such events inculcate teamwork, Strengthens self-confidence and spirit of innovation. Principal Dr. Neeraj Kant and Dean Dr. Gaurav Sharma also praised the students' creativity and the department's efforts. The event was successfully conducted under the guidance of Department Head Dr. Pankaj Sharma. He thanked the management, faculty, and students. The organizing committee included Monica Rana, Dr. Shivani Jain, Deepa Singhal, Aditi Sharma, Deepali Gupta, Anjali Sharma, Shubham Bhardwaj, and Siddharth Goswami.
